Meet our beloved Brittanys
At River Bend Brittanys, each of our dogs is a cherished family member with a unique personality. Discover the joyful lives of Billie, Zina, Merlot, and Tucker, and see what makes them so special.

Billie: The happy hunter
Billie, our retired female Brittany, is a true enthusiast of life's simple pleasures. She thrives on hunting, swimming, playing fetch, and taking long walks. Always eager to please, Billie is a happy girl who loves to be close to her humans. She's quite the communicator, letting you know exactly what she needs with her endearing "talk."

Zina: The agile snuggler
Zina is a marvel of athleticism, always ready to run and jump with astounding agility. Beyond her incredible energy, she's also a devoted snuggler who adores everyone she meets. Be warned, though, Zina has a mischievous side – she's our resident food thief!

Merlot: Loyal and loving
Merlot, our retired male, is a sweetheart who just needs a little time to warm up. Once he does, you'll be greeted with the most wonderful, big dog hugs. He possesses a tremendous sense of loyalty, making him a steadfast and devoted companion.

Tucker: The playful clown
Meet Tucker, our new and upcoming stud, who embodies the spirit of a playful clown. He's always eager for a game, with fetch and tug-of-war being his absolute favorites. Tucker is a true lover, and for a 12-week-old pup, he minds incredibly well.

A day in the life at River Bend Brittanys
Our Brittanys start their day with a morning potty break in the play yard, followed by a few rounds of fetch to burn off energy before breakfast. After their meal, they even get their teeth brushed! Then, it's time for their first of many naps throughout the day. Since we work from home, our dogs are always by our side. They enjoy car rides and occasional visits to the dog park for extra stimulation and socialization. Evenings bring walks after dinner. Brittanys are incredibly intelligent and love puzzle games, making them the best breed for an active family dog.

Our unique approach to raising Brittanys
Our puppies are not raised in a loud, small kennel environment. Instead, they are socialized from birth in a clean, quiet, and loving home. They receive daily handling, petting, and play, ensuring they grow into well-adjusted and confident companions. All our pups are vaccinated and wormed at the appropriate times. For their safety in the field, their tails are docked and dew claws removed. We require new owners to arrange a health check with a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of receiving their puppy.
